All ballet classes should have dancers’ hair in a secured bun away from their face.

Undergarments should NOT be worn under tights. Tights act as undergarments. If wearing a sports bra under a leotard, please make sure that the leotard conceals the straps.

We prefer auto-draft payment which is available to run on the 1st or 15th. You will be able to let Morgan know at schedule pick up.

Remind101 is our primary way to communicate. Please make sure to join the class by using @sgbdance. We also send information out via email, so please make sure to have your address current in our system

Parent’s must drop off/ pick up their students at the time allotted. Students that have been picked up more than 15 minutes late will be charged an additional $15/ month/ occurrence.

After school tutoring is available for SGB students by Kedist Chen- Black. No student will be allowed to stay on the premises without supervision, of any age, unless their class starts at 3:45 or 4:00. Any classes that start later after 4:00, parents’ are responsible for transportation or after-school care until their class starts. South Georgia Ballet and Thomasville Center for the Arts are not responsible for your dancer(s) until they are in their scheduled class.

Students that are under the age of 12 should be walked in and out of the Center for the Arts with an adult. Please do not use the circle drive for pick up. Please park and walk in to pick up your dancer.

Dancers 13 and older may walk out to their ride unaccompanied; however, do not use the circle drive to wait for your dancer. Please park in the lot on Washington Street behind the annex so that we are courteous to others so they can pull in and out of the Center.

We offer pink and tan tights and ballet shoes year-round. Pointe Shoes, jazz shoes, and tap shoes are in limited supply and are while supplies last.

Parents, please be mindful of the noise in the hallway as we can hear all conversations during class time. Keep young children close and quiet so we don’t disrupt classes and other partners in the building.
