5K, Fun Run & Tot Trot

There are children in our community who long for the chance to feel truly special and loved. It is our mission at South Georgia Ballet to bring the art of dance to our community but it is also our calling to bring inclusion and joy to all people, regardless of their backgrounds, circumstances or abilities. That’s why we created our Special Needs Dance Program called Special Steps!

Through the Tutus and Tennis Shoes 5K and Fun Run Fundraiser, we raised more than $10,000 and had over 250 participants who helped provide the funding for this special program. We thank our dancers, their parents and those in our community for giving of their time and money to help continue this program. But most of all, we thank everyone for opening their arms and embracing those children in our community who truly need to feel special.
