ABOUT US

South Georgia Ballet invites everyone to be a part of the ballet. South Georgia Ballet is a tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and is qualified to receive tax-deductible bequests, devices, transfers, and gifts. Please help us continue and build upon this strong foundation of artistic excellence. Become a Friend of the Ballet, and plan to see our shows this season. Volunteer behind the scenes, become a corporate sponsor or lend us the talents. Your support will help us bring the arts to life.

Mission:

The mission of South Georgia Ballet is to enrich the quality of life in southwest Georgia by expanding the cultural opportunities available to all of its citizens. A regional youth ballet company, SGB emulates the curriculum and commitment of a pre-professional training program, develops and produces original performing arts productions and reaches out to a diverse community with education and performing arts enrichment experiences. We especially strive to bring classical ballet and other dance forms to audiences of all ages and socio-economic levels.
